My father died in July

I have been away as I had to bury my father in New York. It was so sad but he had a wonderful funeral. So many people showed up to honor him and lay him next to my mom and baby sister who died when I was fourteen. They are all together now, and I miss them.

My dad was a WWII vet, a member of the Coast Guard after he retired, and an ambulance corp driver. He kept active for years, and going back to see him laid to rest was hard, but it was good to see my brother and sister.

I am glad your father is at rest now, sounds like he lived a full life, it is always nice seeing family even when it is at funerals.

It is hard when we lose one but he is resting now with your Mom and sister.
I am sorry for your loss. Is that his home? Beautiful

I am so sorry you are feeling this loss, but I'm so glad he had such a life to celebrate.
