Good Morning Gather

Just hopped out of the shower... going to let my hair dry without the aid of any appliances. Today I'm going to let it go curly. I have masses of curls if the flat iron doesn't remove them all.  I saw the perfect hairstyle a few months ago on YouTube and asked my son to give me that cut. He did a great job, but it does need a flat iron to perfect the look. I'm talking about Amy Belle in case any of you want a really cool short style for the fall. The video I'm talking about is Amy singing a duet with Rod Stewart. The minute I saw the cut, I loved it. But today, I'm going to let the curl take over. It's supposed to be a lazy day after all!

My hair is pretty curly as well. Some days I let it air dry, but mostly I use the flat iron as well. Just planning on enjoying my day off work today.

My hair is stick straight regardless of what I do to it. Even if I use hot rollers, it's nearly straight again by the end of the day.

I've got the springy curls that even using the flat iron, the minute any humidity hits its, POOF!

I live in Florida, so you can see where this might be an issue.

I rarely use the blow dryer and never the flat iron -- they damage your hair

I have wavy hair, it always goes natural. I have been to Wal Mart, my sister's and the dairy store. Hubby is fixing lunch, I will be doing all kinds of stuff, I hope, since we are having a cooler day.

you have been busy to far today. My hubby is outside putting gutter shields on. I hate when he does that. I keep expecting to hear a thud!

I usually let my hair air dry as it tends to get more of a curl at the ends (I have wavy hair). Today I'm trying to tackle some things on my to do list, and later I'm heading out to hit some sales and get a new laptop.

My plan is just to enjoy the beautiful weather. Well, the temperature is gorgeous. It's cloudy out, and looks like a chance of rain, but the temp is ideal. No air, the doors and windows are open letting it all in the house.

temps are cooler today, but the sky is bright with huge fluffy clouds. I do have socks on though... don't like that part lol!

Good afternoon this morning I was busy moving stuff in the living room to re stretch my carpet and put a strip down so it dont move apart again. It stills has a coupld wringles in I sur hope they flatten out so I don't trip over them. It is only 60 degrees and has been raining all morning and still raining.

You have definitely been busy! 60 degrees sounds kind of chilly but I guess it could be a lot worse!. I hope that this isn't the end of our summer :(

I so understand where you're comming from with the massive curls. I'm a cosmetologist and I have the thickets 80's hair ever. I hate it and the flat iron is my best friend. Some days, like today. I just go natural with the curl even as ugly as I think it is. x.x
