By the Light of the Moon
A shaft of pale light, the first illumination of the secret moon, splits the dark
Lighting the air in a spray of ashen shimmer, the frisson through the night
Dancing frail wisps, alive with an awaiting whisper of a sly divine spark
Illusive notions of fairies and unearthly beings sing in the bright glow
Warding off the shadows and haunting beasts of which we dream
Our eyes imbibe the radiance, yearn with the celestial show
Come play, it beckons, revel and breathe our air
Bring wishes, perchance a castle in the sky
Ascend the rungs of the moonlit stair
Fly on gossamer wings, in lustre
With shiny, pixie dusted hair
With notions you muster
Born in desire
And blithe
Fire

I like the final lines:
Born in desire
And blithe
Fire

Nice work putting in a link for the prompts! (That's even better than typing them out at the bottom).
I put in the link because I was in a hurry and trying to squeeze posting in while writing my book.
And the book is officially finished, except for the final edit check.
