Just got my call from Walmart. My orientation starts tomorrow!

So if your ever in Woodstock's Walmart. See if you can spot me out. I'll be the nervous cashier.. lol At least for a little while...

This is such great news. I didn't think I'd ever get a job. I've put applications in everywhere.

Good luck with your new job! Hope it works out for you! Yes, indeed, jobs are very, very scarce! Our son keeps wanting to quit his job at the cemetery, but I told him absolutely NOT! He's been offered full-time, with ALL benefits, plus he'd get a $7/hr. raise right away......he said he "needs to think about it" and that he "didn't go to college for 5 years to work in a cemetery forever." I told him he should be thankful he has a job (makes over $10/hr.) and to think hard on the full-time job. There are lots of people out there who would jump at the chance to have his job!

Oh my goodness, yes he is so lucky to be making that kind of money. And have great benefits. Walmart can only give me part time. But I am so happy with that.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it. My suggestion? Make sure you learn the coupon policy! Lots of us couponers come in there and so many cashiers don't know the policy. It will make your life easier if you don't have to haggle with us nasty couponers, lol!!
