The Vampire Diaries' second season ended with Jeremy experiencing the side effects of the spell Bonnie used to bring him back to life. He saw his two dead ex-girlfriends, and now he's going to have to figure out why these vampire ghosts are in his life.
TVD spoilers about Jeremy and the girls in his life
According to E! Online, Anna and Vicki will be around in Jeremy's life and Mystic Falls for "somewhere around six" episodes and "recurring throughout the season." It doesn't sound like they're going to affect Bonnie and Jeremy's relationship too badly, if at all, and it does mean there's a chance to see Bonnie defend her boyfriend as a witch from the ghost vampires—once she learns they're around, that is. Jeremy's going to be trying to keep it a secret, but secrets aren't kept for long on The Vampire Diaries. Whatever happens, hopefully Jeremy and Bonnie are together at the end of it—they did seem to be on steady ground and getting pretty serious when season 2 ended.
It is still unclear just what these ghosts want now that they're back, and Vicki does have her brother Matt to also deal with. Remember, Matt may know about vampires and werewolves now, but that doesn't mean he likes it. Will seeing his dead sister again help change that perspective?
What are you hoping to see on The Vampire Diaries in season 3 for Jeremy and Bonnie?
