Leah Remini is leaving CBS's The Talk and she won't be back. However, the choice appears to not have been hers. The Talk is revamping itself with some older personalities such as Kim Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and Steve Harvey Morning Show's Sheryl Underwood. There was a lot of talk that Jenner and Underwood were going to replace Remini and Holly Robinson Peete. Fans now know that at least one of those rumors turned out to be true.
On Thursday, Leah took to Twitter and tweeted, "It is official: I am sorry to say that I have NOT been asked back on the show. Sorry to my fans. U worked so hard! I adore u guys." She later added, "No reason was given."
Upset by the news, Robinson Peete tweeted, "Truth is I have still not officially been released ... Devastated by the news that @LeahRemini was not asked back to @TheTalk_CBS. She brought humor, heart and authenticity."
Unfortunately for Holly, an inside source stated, "Sheryl is joining as co-host at start of season and could become a regular. She'll join the panel with Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Sharon Osbourne for the season two launch, which starts Tuesday, Sept. 6."
That obviously means that sooner or later Robinson Peete will get her official confirmation that she is also out. When it comes to the entertainment world, it all boils down to the almighty buck and officials will cut you out with "No reason was given" if they think it'll help with the views. Sadly, Leah Remini has learned that the hard way. The Talk will go on but for how long?
