The Salahis have a history of dubious charitable activities in the past. Their America's Polo Cup which was a front for their own charity Journey for the Cure. Their claims are usually over the top. In the past they claimed that their events were attended by presidents and advertised that Prince Charles was to attend one of their events which turned out not to be true. Their literature thanked the POTUS and congress for their support when in reality they had nothing to do with it. They posted pictures of celebrities from other events and then claimed the pictures were taken at their events. You will notice similar over the top language with this event.

They are further misleading by claiming they own Oasis Winery when in reality it is owned by The Salahi Family Partnership which, according to court records, he only has a 5% share. The winery is in bankruptcy and is set for liquidation.
