It's raining Justin Bieber parades and flashmobs all over the world. Following a trend that began in Norway last month, hundreds of thousands of true beliebers in eleven different countries have taken it to the streets with parades and flashmobs in honor of their idol. And they've all made videos of their efforts.
Of course, even acolytes as hopelessly devoted as Justin Bieber's fans have their own agenda. And the international sisterhood of beliebers seen dancing, marching, singing, and praying on the video below are no different. Their ulterior motive is a noble and a totally understandable one. Beliebers in countries as disparate as Chile and Malaysia are determined to persuade the Teen Dream to come to and perform in their homelands. And they've decided that the best way to achieve their goal is to honor JB with videos of themselves literally begging him to include their countries on his next international tour. They went all out in their efforts. Check out the girls in the Norwegian parade sporting "I Love U, Justin" on their faces. Hopefully, the messages were printed with Sharpies, not tattoo needles. At any rate, according to the JB fan site that compiled the video, there were many more than eleven parades, but some of them could not be included "due to poor [video] quality." Thus, Italy, Chile, Sweden, Portugal, Philippines, Malaysia, Denmark, Brazil, Holland, Switzerland, and Norway were only a few of the countries in which these parades have been held. Yikes.
So, how will Justin Bieber react to all this public love? If his reaction to the tape of the first Norwegian JB Parade is any indication, he'll be pleased. Although whether he's actually considering touring Oslo is, as yet, unknown, he tweeted a message of thanks and mutual love to his Norwegian fans. Hey, every little bit helps. So you hang in there, beliebers. And like your idol, Never Say Never.
Note: Imagine what could happen if these obviously intelligent and obsessive little girls channelled their time, energy, and considerable organizational skills into other endeavors. They could rule the world. They could alter the course of history. It's frightening--er--truly impressive.
Just saying. You go, girls.
