Place and Time
Â
So quiet now, the afterimage faded;
just another shortcut between streets,
sunlight fetching the shadows away.
Â
The regret and trouble swept away
into memories and time long faded.
Nothing to hinder passage amid streets.
Â
Life moves forward, to litter these streets,
people move past an incident stolen away.
Never knowing the moment that faded.
Â
Look past the faded stone, beyond the streets, to a distant far away...
