Evan Rachel Wood has Justin Bieber fever, and she apparently has a killer case of it. Last month, the actress posted a video of herself on YouTube singing JB's hit "U Smile" in a karaoke bar in China. In a subsequent interview, the 23-year-old actress admitted she loves him "unashamedly." This isn't the first time, Wood has publicly expressed her passion for the Biebs. What will Selena Gomez say?
So far, Gomez hasn't commented on Evan Rachel Wood's giant, belieber-like crush on her man. However, it's highly unlikely that the We Own The Night headliner doesn't know about it. Especially since, according to the loquacious Wood, everyone else in Hollywood does.
"I love Justin Bieber unashamedly," Wood gushed in an interview with New York Magazine, "that is a fact; everyone knows it."
Everyone indeed. Even George Clooney, Wood's co-star in her latest film, the political thriller, The Ides of March which also stars Ryan Gosling. In fact, Golden Globe nominee Wood can remember the exact moment Clooney learned about her obsession with the teenage pop superstar. Fittingly, it happened at a screening of Justin Bieber's inspirational documentary film, Never Say Never.
"George Clooney was around for when I first saw Never Say Never," Wood recalls, "and I got super into it. I was a changed person. And I was dancing and singing, and then I noticed that the set was really quiet, and then I looked, and the camera was rolling and George is standing there. And he just said, 'Enjoy the DVD!' and he walked away. So that was terrifying."
Terrifying? Embarrassing seems more like it. Terrifying might be an adjective more accurately used to describe Selena Gomez's reaction to Wood's giant crush on her superstar beau. Especially since the Teen Dream will turn 18 in about 6 months, which will make the age difference between him and the almost 24-year-old Wood less daunting. After all, Selena's 18-year-old ex-beau Nick Jonas is now dating 26-year-old Delta Goodrem. So, there's a precedent.
