I really hate to have to share bad news with the Gather community. However it has been happening far too often lately. Gather member Fancy has lost her father.  You can read more about it by clicking here.

“That button is very similar to the Facebook and Twitter buttons you see next to it. Click this button to share the article/photo/video on your Google Plus account, if you have one. Need Help

In an attempt to get your questions and problems taken care of in a timely manner, Gather has a staff of customer support agents just for your problems. However, keep in mind that they cannot help you if you don't tell them what is going on.

Please refer all your questions, concerns, and feedback to the official Gather HELP FORM.The Gather staff will respond (if necessary) by email. The Gather Help Desk will be used for important announcements so feel free to check it out from time to time.

Keep In Mind that they will email you at your regular email account not our Gather email.

Thanks, Connie! Yes, lots of losses......we're waiting to hear from our son about his boss' brother, who just got moved to the Hospice House either Friday or Saturday....he's had two strokes....they've not expected him to make it through the weekend. Jerry, our son's boss, will most likely bury his own brother at the cemetery. He's also lost a very young grandson as well.....lots of sadness!

Yes, they were ready they all got up and got ready and even the young lady that is staying with us got the baby up and got her ready and everyone was smiles going out the door!

I remember our kids were always glad to get back to school. They are now talking of school year long because of the snow days. They did not meet the days required for the last couple years.

The parents didnt like it so the next year we went back to the regular schedule.

Haley got baptized on Saturday. She was so excited. She was scheduled to be baptized earlier but she was too afraid to let them dunk her.

Connie, I just got news that my oldest nephew's girlfriend is in the hospital and has been given 2 to 6 weeks to live. Her liver is shut down and her kidneys are in the process of shutting down. They are only 39 years old, I would be grateful if people could send their thoughts and prayers to them in this terrible time.

My nephew won't open up about it to anyone. We are very worried that he may do something foolish now, so we are waiting for Shanda to improve or not and hoping that Jeremy does nothing bad. My sister is at her wits end.

So, ummm, schools starting again? Time to crank up my old Alice Cooper album - Schools out! It's been close to 30 years since I entered a classroom. I still don't miss them. I know - parents are excited. Kids aren't...at least most kids after first grade. lol

We went to my hubby's cousins wake yesterday. He died last week. It was so very hard to see his widow in so much grief. He had been killed by a drunk driver. Who is right now, out free on bail. It really is so sad. I feel for her.
I have a meeting at work this evening at 7 pm. Don't know if I can make Jeanette's chat or not. We will see.

I had a friend who lost her Mother, Aunt and almost lost her Father whey they were hit by a drunk driver. All they did was give him some jail time and that was it.

They need to do more to stop this from happening.

I am sorry about your hubbys cousin. Very sad indeed.
