Maggie Gyllenhaal Discusses Female Sexuality on 'Curiosity' (Video)

Last night on the Discovery Channel, the show Curiosity featured Maggie Gyllenhaal discussing female sexuality at 8 p.m. The sexy star will soon be in a new film called Hysteria about the invention of the vibrator, so it was appropriate to see her talk about this subject.

Simon Andreae, Curiosity's senior executive producer said of Maggie Gyllenhaal, "I asked if she would be interested in collaborating with us on a film that explores the nature of female sexuality and whether the female orgasm helps in conception, how it evolved, why it's there, what it means, and so on, and she was immediately fascinated." Who would not be? The female orgasm is the most fascinating of subjects.

One of the questions the actress tried to answer the question of why sex is fun. One of the doctors on the show actually joked that sex research can be quite boring. This was during a segment when their test subject had been applying genital stimulation for over 10 minutes with no orgasm.

In all, the Hysteria star did an amazing job narrating the episode of Curiosity. If you missed it, it is certainly worth catching it later. Until then, you can hear her in the video below.
