New photos have surface which are rumored to be of iPhone 5 components. The Apple Smartphone has been a hot topic for iPhone lovers who have been biting their nails anticipating this device. Do these new photos confirm the iPhone 5 release date is around the corner?
According to an article at Apple Insider, TVC Mall began listing what the company says are the iPhone 5's battery pack, rear camera and audio flex components for sale on Monday. True to Apple fashion, not a lot is known about these components; but if the rumors are true, perhaps Apple fanatics will soon have their iPhone 5 release date.
Meanwhile, other smartphones are expected on scene within the next month. Devices such as the Motorola Droid Bionic are likely going to challenge the iPhone 5. With the Android fan base growing, how long can Apple hang on to that "best of the best" claim when it comes to smartphones?
As for the photos, the parts are different from iPhone 4 components; but are close enough that they could be for the iPhone 5. Will the next generation iPhone be a completely new design or be similar to the current iPhone model?
Probably no one will know until Apple officially unveils the handset, but there is a lot of speculation. Some feel the next Apple smartphone will be a complete redesign, while others feel the handheld will be a mirror image of the iPhone 4.
Wether the photos are of the iPhone 5, or some random components photographed to spark more rumor is yet to be seen, but hopefully Apple will announce the iPhone 5 release date soon.
