I used to think it happened only once in awhile,
until I realized that I'd not only recognized it in me,
but a lot of others that I'd never expect.
Too many times, we stand aside and let the waters
slip away. 'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
has now become today. I don't know why, do you?
I just know it's got to stop, can't you tell? We've got to stop
and face life head on, when it's the last thing we want to do.
So don't you sit upon the shoreline and say you're satisfied.
When you're not and neither are any of us, it's just easy.
Choose to chance the rapids and dare to  dance the tide...
Take what happens, handle it and go about your life;
because we're stronger than we think, stronger than we look.
Life is what we make it, so dare to make it good.
