Rizzoli & Isles continues its second season with "Bloodlines" next week, and the case is going to be taking the detectives out of the city of Boston and out to Salem. Is a witch hunt somehow involved on this case?
Season 2 episode 7 "Bloodlines" promo
"Jane and the team investigate what appears to be a modern-day witch hunt in Salem. Meanwhile, Frankie's old girlfriend returns to town with a surprise, and Jane has no problem speaking her mind about the situation."
The promo (below) shows that their victim, whose wrists and ankles were bound, may have been alive when was set on fire. They come across altars and signs of witchcraft—this is in Salem, after all—and one of the locals suggests using a séance to find out who killed the victim. It looks like it's going to be a "spooky" Rizzoli & Isles episode.
With the case taking them to Salem, it's no surprise that witchcraft seems to play a big role in the investigation and the victim's life. Who will turn out to be the murderer? Will it be the guy who suggests the séance in the first place? Will it end up having nothing to do with witchcraft (though based on the promo, that seems unlikely)?
