How funny that she wanted cream of wheat for dinner. But it does make for a very yummy breakfast!

We've had it for dinner before either when I'm in a breakfast for dinner mood or if I'm not feeling well. Cream of wheat is a great comfort food.

I have cooked cereal nearly every morning. When I was in college I could make a serving of Quick Quaker Oats in the time it took some others to fix toast and peanut butter.

One cereal that's good for supper is corn meal, made ahead, allowed to cool, then sliced, fried and served with pure maple syrup. Of course some ham or bacon on the side wouldn't hurt.

lol! Wouldn't that be the same as baking a loaf of corn bread? It's also very good with chili.

Corn bread is good, too, but I don't think of it as an entree. Fried corn meal mush is quite different except, of course, for the corn meal taste.

I wish I could get Angela to eat breakfast in the morning before school.....it's a fight, no matter what we have or what I fix.

Angela's year is going to be interesting....she has male teachers for 6 of the 7 classes. She also is bussed to another school right in the middle of the day for 1 class....yes, only 1 class.

I can get them to eat breakfast, yes. Getting them to brush their hair now there's a battle in this house.

I was bussed to an elementary school senior year to be a TA the class was actually two periods for transportation time. How long is Angela's school day. High school here is 8 hours - 8AM-3PM

8:10 to 3:30 Angela has 7 classes....and #4 is at the other high school. I don't understand why they couldn't do it either first or last....or actually let her go to that high school.
