I am a big Gleek. I love the show Gleek probably because it reminds me of my high school and college days when I was in the Swing Choir, which is what we called Glee club or show choir back then. It was pretty fun.
In between the singing acts on stage they highlighted 3 young people who are Glee fans, and they talked about how Glee helped them to accept who they are and be proud of what they are. The stories were sweet and touching.
I think that the people who play Sam, Quin, and Tina really got a raw deal in the movie however. Most of the cast got a solo. but all Quin and Sam got was one duet, and Tina only got to sing solo for like a second in one song. Since she is part of the original cast I think she deserved more than that. Lauren did not get a solo either, but she is kind of new to the cast and isn't really a singer like the rest, but she did get a spotlight moment with Puck. Mike the one who doesn't sing but dances did a song where he danced while Artie sang.
Of course Rachel and Finn sang the most solos out of everyone.
The Warblers took the stage for 3 songs and then Darin Chris performed with the New Dimensions during a few other songs as well.
Gwyneth Paltrow also made an appearance, but there was no sign of Emma, Coach Sylvester (although she was at least mentioned), or Will Shuster.
If you go to see it do stick around till after the credits, there is an encore performance, several people left and did not get to see that, if you stick out a little longer there is this adorable little boy doing an imitation of Darin Chris at the very end. So don't get up and leave right away.
