Charlie Sheen Drama: Jon Cryer Has had Enough

Charlie Sheen drama has been running rampant for months now, and Jon Cryer--for one--has had enough. In fact, he said on Tuesday, "I never want to go through that again." And who can blame him?

According to RadarOnline, the Two and a Half Men star says he's glad some peace has finally emerged from the entire situation.

"It was an awful thing to be a part of," Jon Cryer says of the entire situation involving Charlie Sheen. From Charlie's drug abuse, the scandals with his hired escorts, Sheen's abrupt departure from Two and a Half Men, and ultimately the cancellation of the show that had for so long been his livelihood--it was simply all too much.

"There's so many fans of the show," Cryer says. "It's important for us to keep giving them that."

And it sounds like that's exactly what will be happening. Jon Cryer is very excited about the introduction of Ashton Kutcher into the Two and a Half Men cast. He says he and Kutcher have great chemistry. The two also share a sort of unusual bond--if you will. Cryer did his very first movie with Ashton's wife Demi Moore--when he was just seven years old.

So it sounds like life on Two and a Half Men is about to progress nicely--perhaps faring even better than it did when Charlie Sheen was leading the cast of characters. And as for Charlie Sheen? Well, he still looks buzzed most of the time. His goddesses have both left him, and Ashton Kutcher has what was once his job. On top of that, Jon Cryer has had more than enough of his ridiculous drama.

I do feel bad for Jon Cryer. Let's not forget Charlie Sheen also went public with one of his drug induced rants and called him a troll. I thought Jon going on Conan and admitting to being a troll in a really funny bit showed great class and grace. I have no problems with Charlie Sheen, but like Jon Cryer I wanna be done too. I am looking forward to the new season!

The next season is gonna suck. Charlie is awesome, sooooo Ashton Kootcher? C'mon just call it three nerdy goof balls, the show was good bc Sheen was cool and destructive and Cryer was a total square. Why add another square. Big first episode viewer rate but the show's dead after the first commercial.

He'll really be Crying when the shows gets canned this year and he's back to being a nobody again. It would have been much easier to replace him; straight men are a lot easier to find for comedy duos.

Great article. I am so done with him. I was never into him, but the show was funny. He's one of those actors that plays one character. Every role the same. I liked him in "Platoon" and "Wall Street", but all the rest of his roles are nearly identical. There is nothing redeeming in anything about him that I can see. I admire his father and brother, but he gives me nothing TO admire. I don't get the hooker thing...all his money? He could have any woman he chooses. The truth is, even shallow soulless gold-diggers wouldn't put up with his petulance, so he has to pay to be loved. A brat born with a silver spoon in his mouth. I wonder how he's fare if he had to work a construction crew and behave like that. He'd have no teeth in his head to smugly smile with. He's totally out of touch and the saddest thing is...he doesn't even suspect that.

I'll trade places with Jon Cryer any day. He made a lot of money off this show.... as did everyone else involved. They have had a good run, all of them... some shows don't make it very far. Sometimes we so identify with people who "might" be out of a job... but when you consider how that industry works... they have had it good.

Charlie Sheen will do just fine. He is not broke... as he is not losing his homes.... and if people did look closely at the end of the shows there were things written at the end of the credits... which is what this was all about. He wanted the individual held responsible. Yes, he had his issues, but he was not alone with that in Hollywood. Unless someone is an insider, you don't realize it. We see some of the celebrities having "melt downs" or drug issues... who do you think they are partying with???? Those parties and Hollywood events are full of drugs...

It's like when an alcoholic goes downhill, "It's a matter of Some people can't hold their liquor".... while the rest of the group keeps getting soused each weekend.

Charlie Sheen has had a ruff few months. He will undoubtedly make a come back. He is not the most talented actor, however he is funny in his own kind of way. Charlie definately made Two and a Half Men the funniest sit com I have seen in a while. When I first started watching it this past year, I wasn't too sure if I would tune in to see Cryer but what caught my attention was Charlie Sheen and his sarcasm which gave the story line a great punch line. I will miss Charlie Sheen as the main host on the show. On the flip side, Ashton Kutcher is a great actor who can stand up to the challenge. I do not think they could have found a better replacement. So with that said, I believe Two and a Half Men will stand a chance. I won't know for sure until the episode airs on television, but when it does I will be among millions of viewers who will be sitting on the side lines waiting to see how it went.
