Over at SheKnows.com, they've given an update of the fake story that was circulating on Facebook. The headline read "BREAKING: Lil Wayne Nearly Dies in FATAL Car Crash! [VIDEO]" with a description of "Surveilance (sic) Camera's Captured This Fatal Car Crash In Which 2 Young Money Rappers Died While Lil Wayne Was Severely Injured!"
The report goes on to mention that Lil Wayne got on Twitter recently, tweeting: "Just left Soul Ride sk8park. Awesome sesh! Props to little Adam Z jr and his homies for shreddin' with me!! Bedtime." The tweet came just 6 hours ago from his LilTunechi account on Twitter. While it could have been an associate sending the message, it's likely if something serious had happened Wayne, or friends, would alert his fans.
So the good news is Lil Wayne is alive and will be seen on stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards later this month as a performer. He's also got an album on the way, "Tha Carter IV."
