Anarchy In The UK (humour)

So what's the difference between anarchists protesting spontaneously about injustice, over zealous policing, rising prices, unemployment and the political incompetence that created the debt crisis and is responsible for failure to deal with it and a bunch of theiving scumbags beaking into shops, trashing them, stealing stuff and torching the building?

None apparently.

After a disturbance in Tottenham, London last night there were reports of gangs roaming the streets playing medieval stringed instruments. Police acknowledged there had been widespread looting.

Oh so very predictably the left were quick to try to blame 'poverty' for the outbreak of rioting, arson, violence and general lawlessness that has soiled our British summer. Labour Deputy Leader Harriet Harman aka Little Hattie Harperson even tried to claim the trouble was triggered by the coalition governments decision to increase university tuition fees. That is daft even by Hattie's usual impeccable standard of stupidity.

Throwing a card at someone (if that translates correctly into American English) is certainly a grave offence, justifying being "pounded by 15 riot shields." You have a talent for finding the surrealism in real life, Ian.

The UK Uncut rent - a mob may throw cards Ann but if they do they will wrap them around a broken brick first (better kinetics, you understand)
This latest riot which was orchastrated on facebook and twitter it's emerged, involved throwing petrol bombs however.

Yes, we British do see the surreal side of things. It was that attitude that won us two world wars. The ability of two guys about to go 'over the top' and charge enemy machine gun emplacements to joke about their chances of survival (when they know those chances are less than nil) is a very powerful weapon. We know how to deal with these situations.

And Harry's season hasn't started yet Ian, wait for the first home game or the one with the Arsenal or even the one with Stoke City. I opened the papers this morning and wondered what Man City and Man United were doing in that area, I thought for one moment the football coaches had got lost and landed up at Harry's ground instead of Wembley.

You would have thought they would learn the lesson of life, that no matter how many shops you burn, how many police you kill, or soldiers for that matter, or how many shops you loot the next day life in Government just goes on and on and on as if nothing had happened but for the few government ministers who come out of the woodwork and say to the media this will not be tolerated.
