2 old time Summer recipes

Here are a couple of old time recipes that my Mom used to make.  I thought I would share them.  They are posted on RedGage, but I will put up a link and have it open in a new window (Thanks Tessa!!)..

 

These you might have forgotten over the years, just a reminder of how yummy they were...  Enjoy!!

Oh not a problem!! Glad to do so. I need to find a couple of other recipes that were family staples... Corn Relish and Grandma's Chili recipe... not sure where I'll find them...

Mmmmm... Peaches... I made peach freezer jam once.. tasted a bit like 7-up... funny isn't it?? As a child I helped my Grandma can peaches (my hands were small and fit into the jars just perfect..) I remember her laughing so hard when I said "I don't wanna play this game anymore!"
