Luol Deng (born April 16, 1985) is a South Sudanese-British[1] professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association's Chicago Bulls and the Great Britain national basketball team. He plays the small forward position.After one year at Duke, Deng entered the 2004 NBA Draft. He was picked seventh overall by the Phoenix Suns, but was immediately traded to the Chicago Bulls by prior agreement. Deng has won three major sportsmanship awards.Deng was the Bulls' second leading scorer during the playoffs.Deng is involved in numerous charities.He is also a spokesperson for the World Food Programme. "He really does epitomize everything I had hoped for as a person and a basketball player," general manager John Paxson said.
