Jersey Shore's 'The Situation' has singed a deal for a shocking six figures to sell tuxedos. Apparently, right now, the fancy garments have become something for just old men, and one company wants to change that stereotype.
That's right, FLOW Formal from New York believes that Mike Sorrentino of Jersey Shore can sell its newest line of tuxedos that they have named none other than "The Situation."
FLOW Formal CEO Brian Weintraub said, "This is great for us and great for the industry. [Tuxedos have] become an old man thing." The great news for the younger demographic is that the line is expected to debut in February 2012, meaning that it will be available in time for prom 2012.
While it may seem odd to some that a company would pay Sitch six figures to sell its clothing, hopefully this will turn out to be a good thing for tuxes. Also, hopefully Mike has somebody smart managing his money because his 15 minutes may be coming to an end. It's almost surprising that he continues to hang around. Who knows? Maybe he has some staying power.
