Anderson Cooper has got to be one very busy guy! Along with hosting his own news show on CNN, Anderson Cooper 360* (since 2003), he's a correspondent for ABC's 60 Minutes, the network where his journalism career began. He takes on numerous co-hosting gigs, including CNN's New Years Eve Special from Times Square. So I can't help but wonder how he finds the time and energy to host another show, a daytime talk show at that. Like when will this guy ever sleep??? The new show, not surprisingly, will be called "Anderson," and premieres on Sept. 12.
I stumbled upon some interesting tidbits about Cooper in researching this post. For example, he was a child model for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Plus, it was his emotional coverage of Hurricane Katrina that propelled his career as a journalist~much like a break-out role for an actor. And, no doubt he was "born with a silver spoon in his mouth," since his mother is the legendary designer, Gloria Vanderbilt. For more on Anderson's (the show will no doubt heighten his one-name status) fascinating life and career and to check out his new show, follow the links below:
