'Battleship' Trailer Debuts to Mixed Reviews (Video)

The Battleship trailer has hit the net but the reviews have been mostly mixed. The movie is based on the widely popular classic Hasbro board game 'Battleship.' Hollywood doesn't always turn a board game into a movie so there are those who feel this will just be a big mess. However, there are others hoping it will be a major success.

Battleship is being made by Universal and Hasbro. Together, both corporations have spent over $200 million to create the movie which will include fighting and romance. Naturally, you can't have a naval war film without romance, right? Uh, OK.

The movie is being directed by Peter Berg and has a cast filled with up and coming stars and even singer, Rihanna! Yeah, it seems like Battleship's target audience will have grown up in the technological media age. Who knows if they even ever sat down to play the board game? Either way, you can watch the trailer below and sound off on what you think about it.
