Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Her 42nd Birthday

Jennifer Lopez is celebrating her 42nd birthday on Sunday--the first in a long time as a single woman. Although not technically single, she and her husband of seven years--Marc Anthony--have just recently announced they are getting a divorce.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the American Idol judge is a multiple Grammy Award nominee, and an incredibly successful recording artist, as well as an actress. She is the mother of 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

So how did will Jennifer Lopez spend her 42nd birthday? She is reportedly in Miami where she was spotted lounging poolside at her condo on Saturday. On Saturday evening she enjoyed a small birthday dinner with her sister, her mom, her manager Benny Medina and a handful of girlfriends. The man she is rumored to be dating--William Levy--wasn't in the picture at all. (J-Lo does look awfully good for 42, doesn't she? If Levy doesn't step up, there will be a long line of suitors in his path!)

There's no word if twins Max and Emme are in Miami celebrating with their famous mom, or if they are at home in new York with nannies. It wouldn't seem likely Jennifer Lopez would leave her kids behind on her birthday, especially in light of her very public break up with their dad--would it?

Regardless of her plans, happy birthday wishes are certainly in order for Jennifer Lopez. May her 42nd birthday be the start of a new life as a single woman, and mark the beginning of a fantastic and highly successful year for the singer, American Idol judge, actress and mom.
