I'm Still Not Receiving Emails

I am still not receiving any emails and am sure it is my server. Hats off to Hotmail :). I am going into my posts and answering comments as fast as I can. Guess I will live with it until they return. I am leaving shortly to go to the mountains and won't be around the computer a lot of the time anyhow. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I have had this happen before and they start coming through after a day or so but I am still without emails.

I thought that was the problem at first but I wasn't receiving any emails from anyone. That told me there was a problem elsewhere.

Sandy, I have been using Yahoo since 1998 and love it. I pay $19.99 a year to get all the goodies I was not getting normally. I have been paying $19.99 since 1999.

I like gather, but its technicians have an obvious IQ below 90 in my opinion. Gather doesn't even try to address these continuous complaints by many. I think this disgraceful, or that of obvious incompetent people.

Someone commented up there about using Yahoo. Why they are paying, I don't know. I have a Yahoo email address for free. And, I recommend using it with Gather, if you can't find the problem with Hotmail, that is

That's great to hear you're getting them. I had to switch from my provider to Yahoo as well. Because anytime a person using the email company I used to report Gather mail as spam, they stopped my notifications...
So, I switched. And, haven't had a problem since

Yep, that email provider was a pain. Just because of that one lone person, it messed everyone else up.

Except that Yahoo wants me to upgrade to their new email system. Which forces you to receive emails you don't want from third parties. After they switch to that, I may have to go back to my old email system

I had took the time to read their terms and conditions. And, I was just plain surprised to see that they forced you to accept this emails. It should not be allowed. You're always supposed to be able to opt out.

Okay, so things haven't changed yet...
I re-read their policies again. I think they might have changed, having to get emails you don't want. Because it's not there anymore
