JENNIFER LOPEZ wanted out of her marriage a year ago, according to Hollywood news. Apparently, things between her and estranged hubby MARC ANTHONY have been rocky for a long time now, and this is the second time she's asked for a divorce.
Many people were shocked when J.Lo and Marc announced their separation last week, but those closest to the couple knew that the decision was long overdue. A source reveals:
"Jen told him she wanted out of the marriage late last year but he begged her to stay… She stayed but she was miserable until finally she couldn't take it anymore."
Although the nearly-divorced couple said in their joint statement that things between them were amicable, recent reports claim that it was quite the opposite. Jennifer and Marc are reportedly having issues over money—the primary cause of which was Marc's wild spending. J.Lo told her friends:
"I'm not bailing him out."
A friend of Jennifer reveals:
"She fell out of love with him and it happened early last year. She was miserable in the marriage and finally late last year she wanted out.”
