She has been missing since July 13, and is a divorced mother who hasn't had contact with her family since her disappearance. The 27-year old woman was supposed to pick up her children at her ex-husband's home, but failed to ever show up or make contact with the man and children. A friend, not the ex-husband, reported her missing.
What happened to Laura Jean Ackerson? Police are calling her disappearance suspicious because the woman has no prior history of disappearing; but they didn't clarify on any other details. This is a confusing case, but more details will be given as they develop. All that is known as of right now is that the woman has been missing for nearly a week now and there haven't appeared to be any leads.
