Anna Paquin has only recently opened up about her bisexuality, an announcement that left the media to make immature and devolved statements, revolving seemingly around their fantasies of pillow fights and threesomes.
Now, though, in an interview with V Magazine, she opens up about what it is like to be bisexual, and the prejudices she has encountered as such.
There is a lot of prejudice against us, but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be," Paquin stated in the interview, adding, "Who people choose to sleep with — or spend their lives with — shouldn't matter, not that anyone particularly cares who I'm attracted to."
The media frenzy surrounding Anna Paquin's announcement of bisexuality faded away after her marriage to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer took place. Perhaps they care less since it was a man--as opposed to a woman--that she married?
What do you think about Anna Paquin's statements on bisexuality? Do you think she's right that they face a lot of barriers and prejudices?
