??With the Emmy nominations 2011 list unveiled yesterday, it appears that there is at least one individual unhappy to be left off the nominees list. The creator of "Sons of Anarchy" was livid over feeling he got snubbed and left off the Emmy nominees list for 2011.
The 2011 Emmy nominees include dramas like "Boardwalk Empire," "Game of Thrones," and "Friday Night Lights," while shows like "Glee," "30 Rock" and "The Office" have also been nominated. However, Kurt Sutter, the creator of the FX show, "Sons of Anarchy," saw he was left off the list and went on an enraged Twitter rant over the news.
According to TMZ's report, Sutter had some choice words for the Academy and also noted that if he had got the Emmy nod, his wife promised she'd allow him to have a threesome, but now he has to settle for something lesser. Also on his rant, which included plenty of expletives, Sutter said:
"These two academy member walk into a bar. one orders a beer. then they both die because they're so f-g old."
Sutter took aim at the show "Glee" as well tweeting:
"glee. hate those annoying, 'please accept me for who i am', singing brats. there, i said it. are you happy?"
"I love ryan murphy ['Glee' creator]. he's always very cool with me. love glee too. just tired of all the j**z piling up at its feet."
Talk about "Anarchy" over Emmy nominations! It appears Sutter is starting up the Primetime Emmy riot ahead of the show. It might be best for him to go back to the drawing board and focus the negative energy on getting his name into the nominees next year. That is, if the Academy will allow that after his outburst on Twitter. Maybe Sutter will show up on stage during the presentation of the award he was snubbed over, Kanye West-style, and talk about how "Anarchy" was the best show ever?
In a story update to all of this madness, according to The Clicker, Sutter has since declared on Twitter that this whole outburst was just a joke. Definitely a colorful joke, and Sutter noted:
"Those who got the joke, laughed. Those who didn't, published a story. So sad that greedy media whores must turn good fun into nasty business."
