Janet Johnson of Longview, Texas gave birth to a 16 lb baby! This is a Recrord breaker for the biggest baby in texas. The baby came out 2 feet tall as well! She ended having a C section due to the size of the baby. The average baby weighs about seven-and-a-half pounds, or less than HALF of what Janet's baby weighed. Janet named her baby JaMichael Brown. The baby is under observation because there are some potential health problems for him because he came out so big. Babies that big can have high blood sugar at that birth which makes them more prone to diabetes. But otherwise, he's a totally healthy baby. The world record for the largest baby is 23 pounds, 12 ounces. So this makes this baby the 2nd largest baby born.
