After the news that Lisa Edelstein would not be returning for season 8 of House, fans wondered if Jesse Spencer could be next to leave the show since his contract is still in negotiations. Will season 8 be without Dr. Robert Chase?
More Chase?
If you consider a tweet Jesse Spencer sent out recently, it looks like he's coming back: "Rule no. 2. I'm coming back for season 8 with a tan and a busted board." It certainly sounds like fans should expect to see more from the doctor in the upcoming season, which is sure to make viewers happy.
Could House continue on without two of its series regulars? It's going to have quite a different feel without Cuddy around the hospital as the Dean of Medicine and House as his ex trying to keep him in line, but at least it sounds like Chase will still be around. Could this mean the Chase and Thirteen romance will finally start-up? That's still uncertain since Olivia Wilde is going to be divided between the Fox television series and her film career. Whatever does happen there, it sounds like fans should expect to see Chase around when season 8 begins—and who doesn't want to see his reaction to House's behavior in the season finale?
