Jaycee Dugard's new book will hit bookstores and Amazon.com tomorrow, and even before it has officially gone on sale, A Stolen Life hit number 1 on Amazon.com's bestseller list.
Since Jaycee Dugard's emotional interview with Diane Sawyer, people all over are interested in her amazing story of survival and hope. It seems people have raced to buy the book in support of the 31-year-old woman who had 18 years of her life stolen from her by Phillip and Nancy Garrido.
Last night during the interview, Oprah Winfrey tweeted, "Failure after failure, neglect in the Jaycee Dugard case sickening. This ought to be a wake up call for the parole system." Next, Oprah tweeted, "Don't we love Jaycee's resilience She is remarkable. Much to teach us all. Have pre-ordered the book."
Have you pre-ordered the Jaycee Dugard memoir? This is certainly one book that you can feel good about buying. The young woman wrote it herself even though her formal education ended in the fifth grade. After all she has been through, she deserves to make a good living and have a beautiful life.
