My mom bought me an indoor herb garden for Christmas a couple of years ago because I was dying to grow my own herbs.  The plants were doing great, but I had them sitting in the window, and one day it got so cold they all died.

I've been wanting to try again ever since!  I was at Lowe's about a month ago and saw this super cute planter for sale, so about 2 weeks ago, I went back and got it so that I could try again.  I bought Thyme, Basil, and Rosemary seeds, partially because I will use them more than other herbs, but partially for the scent.

Here are my herbs after 1 week.  I know it looks like the Rosemary isn't growing at all, but look closely at the 2nd picture.

At this point, I'm feeling pretty proud of myself.  Wish me luck that I keep these alive!

Good luck keeping them alive. I want to get a basil plant because I use that in my pasta and it costs so much at the store.

Thanks! It was only $9something at Lowe's. I had to return something that was $12.99, so I felt like I came out on top that day. :)
