Rest in Peace Peter Falk

One of my favorite Actors has lost his battle with the disease that took his life. He has been an actor for many years and stared in many shows. I did not copy the AP wire service write up.

He was married to Tyne Daly who at one time was in the show Moonlighting with Cybil Shephard. In recent years she had a show that I enjoyed very much , but at this moment can't remember the name. Moonlighting was not one I enjoyed.

Peter will best be remembered as playing Columbo , the Dective who always wore the same trench coat. Of course each time he was to leave a crime scene, had one more question to ask. Usually before he left the scene he had the answer to Who Done it, before anyone could even begin to start . Last year at Christmas, it seemed that all the great Movies had him Starring in them , as one character or another. Never remaining as one for long. It was alway the ending when people began to put all the two's and two' together. But as he left on each show. He just seemed to walk out into the distance and then dissappearing. I certainly hope they play them again this year.

I have seen several since they announced he had passed, from when he was younger , when his voice was softer and you had to look hard to know it was him.

I have not checked to see if his wife was still with us, or her twin brother Tim. Who at one time had a show himself about a small arport, with both owners flying and Tyne as worker and Crystal Bernard as cook at the airport cafe.

My memory is good but not a great writer , trying to get the facts to you. I just have had him on my mind so much lately and should have looked this all up. Of course , that would not be my post, it would be some Journalist I copied.
