When Hawaii Five-0 returns in September, there will be some new faces, and one of them is being described as a "female McGarrett," who will also become a love interest for Steve. What exactly is her story?
New love interest, new problems
Season 1 saw Michelle Borth play Catherine Rollins, McGarrett's recurring love interest whom he was with whenever she was on the island. With Borth getting a role on Combat Hospital, now airing, it's no surprise that they've decided to find another love interest for him—and one that will also be part of the storyline continuing from the first season. According to TVGuide, "she's a Homeland Security agent that the new governor has assigned to McGarrett's team—to spy on them, according to McGarrett. Though they get off to a rocky start, we can reveal that clothes will be shed during one of their first meetings!" It sounds like this should make for some tension-filled scenes and some passionate ones as well. There is a thin line between love and hate, after all, and it sounds like McGarrett and this new female character will be walking it in Hawaii Five-0 season 2. How will her storyline end? Will she wind up siding with McGarrett and the other Five-0s?
