it turned out that the cell phone companyof theirs shut off their phones for (Do I really need to say this) non payment. Their phones are back on.
...They did agree to a 25 a month payment from each of them, or I will repo the laptop.
IF I can not repo the laptop, there is another course that will cause them endless amount of trouble.

with friends like that, well, you don't enemies. I would not be able to sleep nights if I ever pulled that on someone. Hopefully they will return the laptop

their phones were turned off.
I think that the new agreement of 25 bucks from each will work, especially since I pointed out that 300 was far less than the 720 that I paid 9 months ago.

Been there, done that - felt pretty dumb after the second time and got done over for asking for it back as well - I do not lend or borrow anything to anyone and if they need anything then am the wrong person to ask. Sorry if that sounds harsh but when you've been taken for a ride its the only way to kick yourself into submission. Good luck with getting anything back :-)
