Ok, so I couldn't wait to do another installment. I'm so excited with how the basement turned out!
Our friend Rob brought over an air compressor and blasted the walls with mud, then went over it to get a nice textured look. It looks great under them Dallas Cowboys colors!

Our friend Celso came up with the double white line idea. What a great idea!

We had two separate places for the projection screen and after deciding we wanted the bigger one, we had to figure out what to do with the unpainted surface that we had left "just in case" we wanted the smaller one. It became a football field.

Soon after it was dry, the lines were painted (they have since been painted larger) and the Cowboys name was painted in the endzone.

Next, the dark blue carpet was laid with the help from none other than Celso and Rob!

The people that helped out in the basement all got their names painted on the wall, along with a jersey number. Ava and I got our names up because we were great coaches.

Rob and Mindy paint Rob's name in. He did a LOT of work!

Here is the bar put in front of the football field. It's since been moved to another corner of this room.

And last, but not least, the 110 inch projection screen. You can see little Ava in the front, so you can see that the screen is pretty large. (And there's Kevin's name on the wall who was also a HUGE help!)

Even though the basement appears to be done, there are still the final pics that are yet to be posted, and then a whole other installment of how our one week old basement turned into something we'd never imagined.
Thanks for stopping by! If you missed installment one, here it is!

Looks great!
When younger we were big LA Rams fans, and somehow the Cowboys always seemed to get in the way at playoff time, ha! Anyway, I moved away, and so did the Rams. The Cards moved here, so...
Raiders, Vikes, Chiefs, and Lions were some others we used to like.
So that is where he has been! You had him locked in your basement for the last three months!
I hope it didn't flood! Oh, the suspense!
