Supreme Court Refuses to Take ACORN Case...

The Activist Community Organizing Group ACORN, which has been accused of several criminal activities, including voter registration fraud, will not have it's case heard by the Supre

me Court. Â The House overwhelmingly voted to prevent taxpayer funds from going to the group.

Lawyers for the controversial group said Congress had never before passed legislation banning a specific group from receiving money and argued that doing so here violated the Constitution.

It just goes to show that Government funding is not a right under the Constitution.

ACORN has dissolved, and renamed itself with local designations. I suspect we will find out the national group's new name soon, if it's not out there already, and I'm not paying attention. I can't even remember the NY group's new name, but I know they've done it across the nation, and they're all different names. Very creative, but they won't escape scrutiny, I hope.
