Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't too good at fooling others, but it seems he can fool himself pretty well. He is determined that his marriage to Maria Shriver isn't over. Well, Arnold, this may be one time when the old adage, "It ain't over 'til it's over" bites you in the butt.
According to Hollywood Gossip, Arnold is still wearing his wedding ring. He was reportedly wearing it in the days following the media frenzy about his affair with Mildred "Patti" Baena--the one that resulted in a love child who is now 13 years old. One would certainly have expected that by now the ring would be relegated to a jewelry box or at least the top of the dresser. Does he think Maria is stupid?
Sources say Arnold Schwarzenegger was hell-bent on getting Maria Shriver back just days after their separation was made public--before the whole love child scandal hit the news. Okay, maybe he can get points for that one. After all, it really did appear like a mutual thing--reading that after 25 years things had simply worn out. But now that the world--including Maria, of course, knows about Arnold's philandering ways, why on earth would she take him back?
Sources say that even today, Arnold hasn't "fully abandoned hope" for a reconciliation between him and Maria Shriver. Someone clearly needs to remove this man out from under the hot California sun, and prescribe him a very healthy dose of reality.

My concern is that the Schwarzenegger family is being split apart and this is extremely hard on the children as much as the parents, if not more so. What they should do is determine how this will affect their children now and also in the long run. Then plan accordingly to make sure that the children have all the parental love and support they need now and in the future, whether they are apart or reunite.
Although this should never have happened at all, Arnold and Maria married in the Catholic Church and took vows for better or for worse until death do they part. Maybe this sounds too old fashioned, but I really wish people would not marry unless they sincerely plan to honor their vows.
It is not up to others to judge people, only to try and understand and not make the same mistakes in their own lives.

I don't think you are making sense here, people would not feel so strongly about this if the public did not think the basic facts were very meaningful. Of course there is the possibility of some event we know nothing about and cannot predict, but given the facts as we know them is all we can speculate about.
If I abused someone's life and trust I took like that, I would expect to never be spoken to by that person again.
In fact I would have to just calculate the Schwarzeneggers main goal right now is to take all the suggestions of his PR firm and try anything so he can get back into the movie industry.
I am guy but I am 100% behind Maria in this, I don't intend that a penny of my money will ever go into any effort Arnie ever does. Besides he has ruined the last two Terminator movies. He's basically a stupid animal in my opinion, like a prize bull with an expense account. ;-)
In cases of like this, even with children, the Catholic church can grant an annulment. It is a difficult process, but it can be done.
When you are married, it is like a contract... legally binding as with all contracts there are two witnesses. When some cheats, they break that contract and from what I understand, the one cheated on can divorce. The Bible says God doesn't like divorce, but I think he doesn't like adultery more...as that was in the 10 commandants...
I do not understand that. I never thought Schwarzenegger was a very moral person, but I never thought he could be such a cruel and stupid. I really feel sorry for that family.
Maria is much better looking for a women and Arnold is as a man, she can find a new life. Arnold on the other hand, the whole world knows what a douchebag he is .... he will likely spend the rest of his life having to pay for companionship, which is probably find with him.
