The baby was born Wednesday night just before 7 p.m. and weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces. Josh and Anna haven't yet publicly announced the name of their newest addition, but the baby's name will begin with an M, like their first child, Mackynzie. That's right, Josh and Anna have adopted Michelle and Jim Bob's tradition of having all of their children's names begin with the same letter.
Josh is the oldest of the 19 Duggar children at 23-years of age. The youngest Duggar is little Josie who is 18-months-old. Michelle and Jim Bob have not ruled out having more kids, and even announced that they are trying for number 20!
The Duggars are a very controversial family. Some feel that they are only contributing to the problem of overpopulation and families as large as this don't help the Earth's dwindling resources. Other people feel like as long as they care for their kids and are good parents, they should be able to have as many kids as they want. Josh and Anna still have a long way to go to catch up with Jim Bob and Michelle, but congratulations to them for the birth of their second child!

It seems though, that they want to hit the magic number of 20. They said they are trying for another, so that's what I think. I don't think it's for the money though.
However, I feel that as long as healthy babies are being born to healthy moms, and as long as they can support their own family, they are free to reproduce as prolifically as they wish.
Problems liks that do not occur because of the amount of childrenyou have. They can happen just as easily with your first child.
Would you call a first time parent selfish for wanting a second if their first pregnancy was complicated? Would you call a parent who miscarried or had a stillbirth for wanting to try again becauae they are at a higher risk for it happening again?
If so I guess i'm a horrid person for being an epileptic and being pregnant with my second since I had so many seizures and pre-term labor issues during my first.
They can afford the children, their children are cared for and loved and very well behaved. The way I see it, if you can properly care for them, love them, and have time for them, I see no reason to not want another.
Congrats to Josh and Anna with their seccond, and the best of luck to Michelle and Jim Bob on their TTC journey.
