We came home from Italy. I have a new appreciation of English. The Italians were wonderful and patient with us, but it was so hard speaking Italian. I can read Italian and thought I would have few problems because I speak Spanish, but I was wrong. The pronunciation was the biggest problem
All I ate was pizza because that was all I was sure would be as I ordered it. If you order pizza there, you get dough with mozzarella no tomato sauce. You have to order Margarita pizza to get the tomato sauce.
I learned so much, walked so much, and so contrasts in standards of living. I will write more as time permits, but the biggest difference I saw was that Europe has no middle class. They have poverty or wealth.
