iPhone 5 Release Date Rumors and Camera Update

Even with a lot of people still disappointed by the lack of any iPhone 5 release date mention at the WWDC; internet blogs and tech sites have managed to keep the iPhone 5 rumor mill going. There are various reports suggesting leaked features, specs, and release dates. Still, nothing confirmed by Apple on anything related to the rumored device.

An article at International Business Times states that Apple has placed an order with OmniVision for a supply of 8 MP camera sensors. This suggests the iPhone 5 rumor of an 8MP camera is true, if the article information is correct.

Apple fans really would like to get ahold of the rumored iPhone 5, but it does not look like the device will be out as soon as customers had expected. A recent post about the iPhone 5 release date is suggesting the handheld will be out the second week of September.

Apple has been pretty good about keeping lips sealed when it comes to new devices, but it has not stopped people from searching for any tidbits they can find about the iPhone 5 release date.
