Product review I love my Kindle !!!

Wow I cant believe how much I love my Kindle !

At first I was worried I might have a problem connecting it to my network but once I put in the correct password it was connected right away .

I love they way you can read it in any light these photos were taken outside on my porch and you can clearly see the display . Because I only had a limited number of amazon gift cards that I got through doing surveys I opted for the Kindle with the advertisement screen-saver for only 113.00 . as you can see these ads are not ugly and disappear one you start reading .

I than went to amazon and looked through their free books and got a bunch . each was delivered in seconds and ready to read.

what I love about this too, is that it comes with a dictionary so if I see a word I'm not sure of in one of the more classical theological books I'm reading I just highlight an it gives me the definition without being invasive .

My Kindle will download blogs,documents, and just about anything printed . If I get a book that I have to download to my computer I just send that file to my Kindle through Kindle email !

I took two photos to show how nice the display is . one showing the screen-saver and one showing some of the titles I have downloaded free from amazon .

you can do a search on amazon for the top 100 free books and games for Kindle in the Kindle store .

I love that its so thin and lightweight and the pages turn quickly so it can keep up with you .

with the whisper net I can download a book without it being hooked up to my PC , in seconds .

Bottom Line this is an awesome product and I am so happy with it , if you are thinking about getting a ereader you cant go wrong both in price and function . thanks for reading my review :)

I had wondered how they were in the light since my cell phone is impossible to read outside. One of my grandchildren just got a kindle also and loves it.

Lori if it helps any I didn't get an email notification about this post. I had to go look for it on your profile. I know I didn't delete it unless you just sent it to groups which I don't get notifications for. I hope this bit of information helps.

As for the post great review on the kindle. I didn't know you could download anything other then kindle books that is why I didn't get one. I spent a fortune on my Sony Ereader. :( Thanks for sharing and enjoy reading.

Oh yes I downloaded Angela's book from a download it was a Mobi file than I just sent it to my kindle buy kindle email and it was there , you can get any thing printed and send it by email to the kindle but its easier to select mobi file if you can otherwise some stuff may have to be converted . but that can be done there is a how to video about it on google thanks for looking at my review Beauty :)

$15 is doable~I've seen them on Amazon for $50-60, half what you pay for the Kindle.

The Kindle is going for about $118 around here now. I paid $89 for my Sony. I Had gift cards that i earned online and a promo.

I got my kindle with gift cards as well and I did not have to pay the 114 for it , since i had amazon gift cards I had to buy through amazon

I love my Kindle, too! The free books, the samples of other books (I'm reading the sample of Steven Tyler's (of Aerosmith) new book), the quick upload of books, how easy it is to get around.

Although I was resistant to the idea, I was given a Kindle 3G as one of my Christmas gifts.

I LOVE IT!

I've got about 180 plus books on it and take it everywhere. When I go on holiday to various European destinations, my luggage used to be heavy with books. Now, I can put my kindle in my handluggage and just go. It's great.

I've added loads of books from Gutenberg - all for free.

The Sony looked rather cool with a few more bells and whistles, but the Kindl is the best deal around and after all - you want it for reading.

Glad to hear you are happy with it. I'm still not sure that I want one, I think I will put an I-Pad on my Christmas/Birthday list instead. Can't have everyone of those electronic toys:)
Paperbacks are still fine with me:)

Thanks Rose - Nothing would replace my paper books I love them and love to look at them all set in the bookshelf but with the Kindle I can get books for free when I'm short of cash and do not want to re read a book for the 12th time lol Which I have been known to do -My dad has a Ipad and loves his

You can get books from your local library with the Sony but cannot the Kindle

according to my owners manual you can here is the info

Also the Kindle will read to you through ear phones

I have never hear of a kindle before. I assume you were talking about a kindle of wood. Shows how much I shouldn't assume by reading an article's title.

I here so much about all these gadgets and I don't know which is good and which is not. I probably would wind up getting on just have to talk to my electronic brother in law and find out what my sister has because he buys her the best top notch stuff. Also I am up for any help on which one is best to get from my Gather friends as well.

I know most people got these at first to be able to read books on them, and that's why I'm biased against them. I didn't know they could take pics and flix and stuff, and that's cool. I just can't bring myself to buy something like that. If I'm going to read a book, it's going to be an old fashioned, paper and glue with a cover book. Not an e-book. /sigh. personal rant. sorry. Glad you're loving the Kindle! Hope it gets lots of use!

Holding the tablet felt 'odd' - not like reading a book, so I bought a kindle cover for 30 quid - and now it does! OK, the text is only on the right hand 'page' of the book, but it feels more book-like.

I was really worried about that - I am a real book-aholic - but found that some of the huge blockbosters were just too heavy to hold with my arthritic wrists - the latest Ken Follett was the book that persuaded me to contemplate a Kindle!

kindle books are a bit cheaper and later in the year you will be able to download from the library , also amazon has 100s of books for free for kindle I downloaded 25 of them and I also use it to download free books from book sneeze and blogging for books . I also do reviews and some people like to send me a digital copy to review , I have seen great books at amazon for 99 cents and up .

I get 90% of my books from swapping. Let's just say I have a 200+ book wish list, and I'm afraid with the Kindle I'll just buy without thinking twice. I want books faster than I can read them!! But I think a kindle would be a good thing to put on my "Christmas list". :)

I hear kindle is going to allow friend book lending so if a friend has a book you want to read you can put it on your kindle for a certain number of days Thanks for commenting Jennifer
