In the promo, Amber and Gary are seen trying to work through their problems. At one point in the trailer, they even seem to be in couple's therapy and the counselor tells them, "Obviously there's a lot of hurt. You have to ask yourself, 'How does that affect my daughter?'" That's great sound advice, but doing what's right isn't exactly Amber and Gary's M.O.
The couple's relationship has been volatile since the birth of their daughter, Leah. They can't seem to stay away from each other, but they can seem to make things work being together either. Amber was even arrested last year after footage of her hitting and kicking Gary aired on Teen Mom's second season. Still, it doesn't seem like she understands why domestic violence is such a serious offense. In the promo she is seen yelling at Gary (again) and she screams, "You're scot-free, my *ss is in jail for no reason at all!"
No reason at all? Really Amber? You don't understand that hitting your significant other is against the law and it's even worse when done in front of your child?
It looks like Teen Mom season 3 is going to be quite a season. Be sure to tune in when the season kicks off July 5 at 10 pm on MTV.
