When Ashley Hebert's name was announced for the new season of The Bachelorette, people sort of just shrugged their shoulders. Many were expecting either Emily Maynard or Chantal O'Brien to take the helm, even some of the guys on the current season of the show.
Fans were a heck of a lot less excited to watch Ashley find love, after she acted sort of crazy with Brad Womack on The Bachelor. After watching the first three episodes of the new season, however, people are getting to know Ashley differently, and they actually like her.
Some are wondering if Ashley is actually "haunted" by Emily Maynard, and the truth is that she probably was, albeit indirectly. While a lot of the guys do seem to be genuinely interested in Ashley, a lot of them still wish that they saw Emily when they stepped out of their limo. So was Ashley a bad choice for the new Bachelorette? The answer is no. She has proven that she isn't an unstable lunatic, and she's actually really fun to watch.
