We were told this evening at a town hall meeting in Springerville, Arizona that either tomorrow, Tuesday, or at the latest Wednesday of this week we would be ordered to evacuate the town as the wildfires from the Wallow Wildfire were within ten miles of the town.
The photos you see there are but a few of the ones I took last week of the plumes of smoke being generated by the Wallow Wildfire here in Arizona. So far as of the time of the meeting it has burnt over 200,000 acres of land and is still burning out of control.
I am packing as I write this so I will be ready when the order comes to evacuate. Am taking my hard drives though I can’t take the full computer I just build. This so I don’t lose the 30,000 photos I’ve taken since I moved here to Eagar, Arizona a year ago May.
So far there have been no major injuries from the fire and few houses burnt thought there are areas that the firefighters have not been able to return to yet so many homes could have burnt that we don’t know about yet. If mine burns I lose everything but what I can carry with me when I leave.

A little advice is always welcome Stephen never worry about giving it, I've just been doing photography for over 45 years, started when my oldest was a baby...
