Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Kiss: MTV Movie Awards Winner?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are both up for several Golden Popcorn prizes at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards 2011. But, the most highly anticipated category is probably the Best Kiss award for their smooch in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Pattinson has a bit of friendly competition in this category -- against fellow co-star Taylor Lautner, who also kissed Stewart. So Team Edward or Team Jacob? One of them certainly has to take the Popcorn. Twi-hards usually don't have trouble choosing sides and apparently neither does Breaking Dawn star Jackson Rathbone, who recently leveled the playing field and revealed to MTV his choice for the hunky victor.

"I'm gonna have to side with my brother and go with Rob there," he said. But, it's more than just "brotherly" vampire love between Rathbone and Robert Pattinson that's informing his decision. "You know, to me, it was... a long time coming [and] that understanding between two lovers, and I think there's a lot of pent-up sexual aggression there, being young and a vampire," Jackson Rathbone rationalized.

Rathbone certainly has a point there. Plus, there's also the fact that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a real-life couple off-screen, as well. That simple fact makes their on-screen chemistry all the more interesting and dramatic to watch.

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are not only going kiss to kiss at the MTV Movie Awards, they're also competing for Best Male Performance. Rathbone has an opinion about this one, too. "I love both guys... but I'm gonna have to once again side with my family and go Robert Pattinson," he said.

Gotta love a guy who sticks by his (vampire) family! What's even more refreshing is an actor who will actually choose a favorite for an awards show, instead of copping out and reverting to the proverbial "love and support for all" excuse.
