Had to come home for "Hats at the Beach" 2011 (7 pix)

My recent escapade down to Florida to enjoy the record temps this Spring, had the sole purpose to visit several Gulf Coast beaches. Sunny 90's made each one a treat, and by day 3, people incorrectly guessed that this tan person lived there. Another intention, being at a beach and needing a project, was to sleuth around with the camera, and capture photos for a sub-tropical view of a "Hats at the Beach" essay.

What gives here? Florida beaches had no subjects with clever hats? This was a disappointing idea. Baseball caps were abundant, but besides different colors, they are all the same, and quite boring for a hat.

So after returning back to Indiana, it only took one day at the beach to find HATS!

Some hats look new. These could use a few years of wear and tear to look nice.
